Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is perched on top of a steep hill, but it's worth it for the delightful experience it offers. The rooms are cozy and welcoming, although they could benefit from air conditioning. The service is top-notch, with attentively invisible staff catering to unique requests like finding a practice space for my singing. The hotel's location next to the majestic Wartburg Castle adds a magical touch to the stay. The dining experience is bountiful and varied, offering a lavish spread of breads, cheeses, meats, and more. However, there are some limitations in the dining choices compared to other places. Overall, a refined and elegant stay that offers great value for the money.
What a charming hotel! The rooms are well appointed, charming, and comfortable, with all the deluxe amenities you'd expect. However, they have a slightly dated feel which adds character but watch out for flooring nails. The service here is out of this world, from pressing my suit in an hour to helping me find a quiet spot to practice my singing. The location is exceptional with dazzling views over the forests and the fortress, though a bit remote, it's incredibly scenic. Dining was superb, possibly the best I've had in Germany, and the overall ambiance is just awesome. The facilities are top-notch, especially for those who love a quaint touch and historical significance.
